Alright, a charged up desperate 1st period was to be expected. Took their best punch and lucked out down only 1. As shitty as Hawks played I'll take it.

No. No, it wasn't Jarmlerson.

Pretty sloppy period from the Hawks and the ice. Jeff Carter looks like he has absorbed Mike Richards's spirit and is playing for both of them. They won't keep this pace up all game, though, I don't think. Hawks just have to play smarter. They've been a really good road team this year, so it's not unthinkable that they'll come out better. Can't come out much worse!

Haven't seen much out of Shaw or Bickell really.

Kings came out with more life in their legs, Carter especially was noticeable after being absent for the first 2 games. Need to get pucks out, can't go down 2-0.

Agreed, although this is probably the Hawks' worst period since Detroit G4.

Calm things down and win this next period.

They're both top-five, no doubt, and for the same reasons. Nouveau riche racial-coding meatballs who think guys like Malcolm Gladwell and Darren Rovell are essential voices of American culture.

Dang, thought the Hawks learned from Detroit the consequences of sleepwalking through a game. Getting out worked big time.

Didn't think they'd have a worse period, but there you go.

If I awoke from a coma today I would've wagered today was a regular season game in February. Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Kings have been on a power play for the entire game, pretty much. No offensive output whatsoever.
