Of bigger concern might be the status of the Blackhawks' Patrick Sharp. The Kings' Dustin Brown hit Sharp in the neutral zone with 2:10 left in the 2nd. Sharp went to the locker room, and it's unclear if he'll return for the final 20.

No icing? Not that the Hawks deserved a win but WTF?

That's your game. No sweep. The Kings win 3-1 over the Blackhawks in Game 3. Game 4 is Thursday in Los Angeles. Game 5 will be back in Chicago Saturday night on NBC5 & 720 WGN Radio at 7P.

Despite hobbling the Hawks to just 20 SOG and Quick making a couple monster game savers, the Kings still only got 2 goals.

You've gotta put that in perspective. The Blackhawks gave up 12 minutes worth of penalties and LA did absolutely nothing with them. The Kings virtually got the entire second period to play in the Hawks zone and they got one goal out of it. If I'm a Kings fan I'm excited about the win but I'm seriously nervous about how close a game that was when it really shouldn't have been.

If Quick didn't make the Bickell save or if the shady linesmen had reversed a couple late controversial calls, we'd easily be talking a 3-0 Blackhawks series lead in a game where they didn't show up.
