I had a line in my last role, so not always the case and I don't do roles as an extra that just walks through a scene or is sitting/standing in a scene. I always play a role that is "featured" in the scene and has a role/purpose in the scene. I am working my way up the ladder ( fitting for me), but it takes time. In any case, I don't work on projects I think are not worth my time. I make more money working at my regular job than I do on set by far... unless I get a line. So if I am going to take time off for this, it has to be appealing to me. It's about having fun for me and working on something I think is gonna be lame is not fun.

An Extra is a background actor who appears usually in a nonspeaking, nonsinging or nondancing capacity, usually in the background (for example, in an audience or busy street scene). Some extras may have a line or two (for example, a bartender, waitress, or doctor), but are often times are uncredited and are not vital to the film.
