D'Bags take RHP Braden Shipley. He dropped a little and I'm glad he didn't drop a little more. Converted SS. Great arm but not much pitchability. He's going to need time.

Beautiful. Phillies take HS SS JP Crawford. Best HS SS in the draft and he went 16th which says a lot. Good defense but the bat is suspect.

White Sox went for Juco SS Tim Anderson.

No backflips...

Reynolds just said he's immediately one of the best position players in the organization. Then again, it's Harold Reynolds... MLB.tv comp was Brandon Phillips

I thought he'd go to your Cards. They'll wind up with Stanek and get another steal late in the draft.

I'd be fine with Stanek. They seem to know how to move this big throwing guys through the system.

Dodgers take RHP Chris Anderson. Big time power pitcher who faded a bit down the stretch. Fastball/slider guy who needs to improve his change. Middle of the rotation guy with top of the rotation potential.

MLB Network has ruined Reynolds. He's been fine for years. This old school v new school thing is making him sound horrible, and he's had at least ten dumb comments tonight.

Marco Gonzales? I liked him but thought he'd be available at 28.

Maybe they are trying to stash some money for later?

Bam. LHP Marco Gonzalez. Maybe 2nd most polished pitch in the draft. Won't blow up a radar gun but he attacks the strike zone with 3 quality pitches. Love this Kid.

I see what St. Louis is doing here with Marco Gonzales. They have an injured lefty in Jaime Garcia, and Marco throws left and probably speaks Spanish. You know? I think he comes up to the big club in August.

OH MY GOODNESS. Right as I finished that, Reynolds compared him to Garcia.

Detroit takes RHP Johnathan Crawford. Crawford over Stanek? Crawford has a big fastball and wipeout slider but he's a wrapper with inconsistent mechanics. He'll be an up and down starter and will ultimately end up in the bullpen. They'll regret this pick.

They should sell a Harold Reynolds talking-blocker app

Big time athlete with speed?? I thought Kenny wasn't running the draft this year?

Mayo is terrible also. Yet, he sounds like a fuckin' genius compared to Reynolds.

The Bleacher report projections are optimistic

Mark Apell
MLB Player Comparison: Mark Prior Projection: No. 1 or 2 starter on a first-division team; frequent All-Star. MLB ETA: 2015

Jonatgan Gray
MLB Player Comparison: Roger Clemens Projection: No. 1 starter ceiling; multiple All-Star game selections; strikeout king; Cy Young candidate. MLB ETA: 2015

Kris Bryant
MLB Player Comparison: Troy Glaus (3B); Matt Holliday (OF) Projection: 30-plus HR potential; occasional All-Star; frequent Silver Slugger award winner. MLB ETA: 2015 Chances of Signing: 90%

Clint Frazier
MLB Player Comparison: Mike Trout (Note: This comparison is related to his tools and natural ability, and not his future impact in the major leagues.) Projection: Everyday outfielder on first-division team; multiple All-Star games; potential MVP candidate. MLB ETA: 2016 Chances of Signing: 99.9%

Austin Meadows
MLB Player Comparison: Jay Bruce; Colby Rasmus Projection: Above-average regular on a first-division team; occasional All-Star. MLB ETA: 2017 Chances of Signing: 99.9%

Tim Anderson
MLB Player Comparison: Orlando Hudson Projection: Average starting shortstop on first-division team.  MLB ETA: 2016 Chances of Signing: 85%The combination of talent and ability to stay at shortstop, which is a big weakness in this draft class, as well as the fact that Anderson probably won't be able to improve his stock anymore than he has in the last year, make him a near-lock to sign with a drafting team. It is telling how much his tools translate at the next level, considering the level of competition Anderson is facing at East Central, that he would be in the mix for a first-round pick leading up to draft day. That is not something you want to mess with.

Yankees take Downers Grove North's Eric Jagielo. Great pick. Thought he'd be gone much sooner. Greatly improved his defense to go along with a solid bat and good power.

I'm guessing Kaminsky here for the 2-southpaw Round 1

Stanek goes to the Rays at 29. Unbelievable. They'll fix his little mechanical issues and he'll be another top of the rotation guy for years to come. Arms like this should not go at 29.

Yankees take OF Aaron Judge. He has holes in his swing the size of manhole covers. He hit 1 home run on Friday night. All his damage was done on Sundays and during the week. Have fun with that.
