I really want to play Second Son...looking forward to exploring Seattle in an open world game.

Shu just announced some release dates....but I have no idea what they were...

Another Quantic Dream game...this one for PS4...Dark Sorcerers...apparently it's an "old man yelling simulator"

Once again...we're being told to tune in at a later time to see a gameplay demo...so far this has been a fucking shitshow...

I think everyone (not saying you) was/is looking for Sony to go nuts and take 4 hours to do nothing but games. Part of the reaction to the overblown and silly Xbox reveal "backlash."

Hardware/features/games. Not really much you can do with that.

I'm not upset with them talking hardware or features (or even the entertainment stuff...I was poking fun at that same overreaction you are talking about)...

...just don't understand the point of showing a quick trailer of a game and then saying we can view gameplay online after the show or tomorrow...because they aren't quite done putting the final polish on it yet?

But these indie games...and the news of self publishing...is pretty cool...love the full on Contra knock off.

Indie stuff is def. cool, good to see both manufacturers putting money/time/studios into first party titles.

I really can't stand the hype over "PS4 exclusive" content......like an amulet and.......leg braces! Who cares.

The awkwardness that infiltrates these presentations is kinda funny, I also liked the "hit the crab for massive damage" joke that no one seemed to get.

As for seeing the rest of a demo on the show floor, I think it's a way to generate traffic and allow for more time for the other titles.

Square Enix time...this better be good...

...there's no time to get into detail today...check in a few days later...now here's a trailer.

COME THE FUCK ON!!!!

Maybe my stream sucks...but I'm hoping this is PS3 footage...because that's what it looks like.

Assassin's Creed IV just froze on them...fucking hysterical!!!

Someone from Sony couldn't get that guy for Watch Dogs out there soon enough.

No restrictions on used games...Sony just turned a mediocre presser into a win...

...no online connection needed...

...Jack Tretton just fucking won the internet.

No restrictions?

Trade in?

Loan it?

No 24 hour online check ins?

Do all the things we've been doing for decades?

Microsoft is probably going to have to modify their plan.

Indeed. Trenton went straight at the competition, pulling no punches.

We need a price, though.

I'm pretty sure that bullet list of Playstation Plus features included "PS4 Immersive Multiplayer"

So PS4 online isn't free? Well they can quit holding that over Microsoft's head.

Oh yeah, Destiny time!

I think he said it was tiered. Free online and then PS+

Lots of people online interpreting it the way I read it...will have to wait and see...

...Destiny gameplay demo not really looking the best to me...but I still want to play it.

A lot of these live demos look boring up on stage. Too much weird, forced banter.

Watch Dogs was the exception, in that regard.

Yeah, I bet he was thinking it was smooth sailing, just another run of the mill E3 show......and then No DRM, no online check ins and 399

Although you still gotta put that disc in the drive.

You are correct, there is now a paywall for PS online. Oh well, at least they are giving you free games and content.

What they didn't say was that publishers are free to do what the want and that the "No DRM, No online check in" is for the disc based games only, which isn't a huge deal but still a decent caveat.

I think this next generation will be a dead heat, once again with the WiiU :( pulling up in a distant third unless Nintendo gets its head outta its butt.

The DRM stuff kind of sucks but I buy most of my games new anyways. The online check thing doesn't matter at all. The only time I've not had internet for more than 24 hours has been during hurricanes, and I didn't have power anyways. Microsoft should raise it up to 72 hours though just in case.
