Had the windows down with this one cranked today.

Love or hate G and R, it is an awesome song. Would have loved to have seen that one live.

I love the song, but I hate how it gets overplayed by obnoxious ads. See the most recent example with that Google movie with Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn

Surprisingly the only GNR song that overexposure has killed for me is Welcome to the Jungle.

I've come to hate that song thanks to fucking radio. It is a great song however, and yes Matt the two times I heard it live were fantastic!

I was extremely blessed. I got to see them in, of all places, Danville, IL. It was about 6 months after Appetite came out. They were still kinda unknown. It was general admission, and we were about 20 feet from the stage. Slash played a KILLER solo while Axl (pre-egomaniac) rode by on a bicycle. It was fucking awesome!!! One of the greatest moments of my life. Oh yeah, I was fryin' balls on some great acid too! :drunken:

I had roughly the same experience, right down to the proximity to the stage, except the show was at the Coronado Theater in Rockford and no LSD was involved. Amazing show.

Always wished I could have seen GnR in their early days, have heard from everyone I have ever talked to that their shows were amazing!

I think we talked about this in another thread a few months back, but if anyone wants a good read on the story of GnR Duff's autobiography is a great read

You don't need a Buick. I'm sure you have those cool muffer tips on your hatchback. Just drive by real fast and make that neat sound.

Back in my Acid days, I hung with a guy who would take Window Pane by putting it in his eye. He claimed that it fucked him up faster & was more intense.
Is Acid still around these days?

Yes. I haven't taken acid since 1999, but it's still around.

Agreed.

Good song, but not the best, and I don't think anyone is calling it that.

Lay off his woman. That's out of line.

He is the one who brought her into the conversation. Besides, if your reading skills haven't abandoned you, you could easily see that I kept it both contextual and properly impersonal, so the judges allowed it.

He brought her up, but you said she is dumb. That's out of line, no matter how you choose to spin it.

My reading skills are fine.

I said she could possibly be considered "dumb" solely based upon her assumed misjudgment at choosing Frank as her chubby, snuggly, little foot-rubber. It was a shot at Frank. Stop taking up his bag for him, Steve.

8. While I rarely delete things, I can't read everything, but if something is too personal or you have a major issue with something Email me at Bigfan@Redacted and I will most likely remove it. (Unless your name is Ike) To be very specific NO mentions of wives, GF's and specifically kids of anyone discuss here. It will be deleted and I might delete you as well.

Leave his girl out of it.

I don't know what the bag and Steve references are, but you are out of line.
