i'll still never get over the fundamental doucheyness of TFM's first 670thescore column where he went out of his way to make it seem like he made the big leagues and he celebrated the greatness that is Himself in the hackiest-writer-way-possible. i remember deconstructing that blog in the thread for it so anyone who cares (all -6 of you) can feel free to look it up there.

IMHO, TFM isn't all that bad. i've given him shit on twitter and i give him credit for being willing to play ball and take criticism, even if it's only for long enough to come back with his best witticism as a retort. hell, he even told me once that one of my gut-reactions to something he posted was worthy of being on his next column, but the score didn't want @homoputzoafus being on their website... i was so close! so yeah, he'll play the game, whereas schmutzie (that's @schmutzie_ as dan bernstein tells us over the air) is way more self-absorbed and being the lapdog that trumpets whatever bernstein is going after at the moment. i'll always remember that ride home from jewel where my phone vibrated and i saw that @schmutzie_ tweeted @ me "ok you've got my attention now"

just think about that guys, for one fleeting moment in time i, little old internet nobody who isn't even worthy of being read by board luminaries such as redskingreg, had AT-SCHMUTZIE-UNDERSCORE'S ATTENTION. of course, i wasted that blessing to continue to point out his/argument's shortcomings and now i'm blocked by AT-SCHMUTZIE-UNDERSCORE and my life will never be the same, kind of like when jason goff notices a new sinicalypse account via somebody else score/ish's twitter and blocks it without me ever saying a damn thing to him. i've fallen so far since the days when he'd come up to me and tap me on the shoulder and give me the "whaddap" nod of approval. c'est la vie.

so yeah, say what you will about TFM and you're prolly right, but at least the guy has some self-awareness to the point where he'll at the very least project an image that he doesn't take himself very seriously. AT-SCHMUTZIE-UNDERSCORE, on the other hand, takes dan's cue to tweet nasty shit @ alford til you're blocked right to heart and pumps out 10 nasty tweets an hour to the guy if that's what dear leader danstein wants
