I can't believe the NHL isn't strong enough to have their entire championship series televised on NBC. To have these games on cable is embarrassing.

I think they said they were rewarding nbcsports for being the hockey station all season. They are also trying to push their nbcsports brand like the nfl network and that bullshit thursday night mess.

Guys, it's been part of the NHL's national TV contract since the defunct OLN & VERSUS were carrying the league before NBC Sports Network was even born a couple years ago. NBCSN will continue to get 2 of these games, but maybe the first 2 on their air a year from now.

While NBC itself will have EVERY game in the Blackhawks/Bruins' Stanley Cup Final the rest of the way starting tomorrow, it's beyond my control.
