Hawks have to be the worst power play team to ever make the finals. I think I can say that with confidence without looking it up.

What are they in the playoffs alone? Like 2 for 40 in power plays. You'd think no way they'd get this far with that shit.

Then again, they're one of the best at power play kills to ever get this far. So I guess it's a wash.

They are taking their even strength shots from too far a way and the elf is not giving up second chances. Besides that the Bruins are just on top of everything.

It'll have to wait until after kompon sucks him off. How does this guy keep a job? Actually the kings figured it out and shit-canned him after winning the Cup. How many coaches get released after winning a championship. Obviously a lot of this is on the players, just venting.

It's frustrating. We saw a few times where Boston was in that situation and they fired it around the boards to try to keep possession. The Hawks need to be doing the same thing. Throwing weak wrist shots from the half boards with no one within 20 feet of the net is just pointless. Throw it behind the net, fight for the puck and then crash the net.

But they're not strong enough to win those behind the net battles with this team and they know it. Still, you can win 1 out of 4 you would think. Just by chance and out trying them when they aren't going as hard. Better odds than the weak wristers like you said.

Mainly Kompon. These are world class players, they're not stupid. 5 guys standing stationary is on the coaching. You look at certain instances where Kane has the puck at the half boards and instead of dishing it low to Toews who is wide open, standing on the goal line, he holds it...holds it...then passes to nobody. Is that on Kane or Kompon? Who knows. I would think Kane would prefer to just pass it to the open guy though.

This leads me to believe that this whole PP is based off of one circumstance and if it's not there, well, you're shit out of luck then.

I don't believe that. Kings were a stronger team. You're not going to win many board battles vs Chara, obviously, but still. This is just something the Hawks do that can be frustrating at times. They've done it vs all 4 opponents in these playoffs.

Can't expect Crawford to do everything. The Bruins are relentless we can hardly clear.

With the way the Blackhawks are playing that goal may just be the game.

Who is to blame for goal? Thanks to the idiots, I can't watch the game on NBC!

I can't believe how Boston can set up their offense and all we got is skate it in or dump and a single weak shot at best.

The Blackhawks do this, and as a fan I don't know...

- what the problem is
- how to fix it
- what coaches to fire
- what players to cut

For whatever reason, this team undergoes frequent lapses in ability where they revert into this swirling, uncoordinated mass of hockey randomness. In the blink of an eye the Blackhawks become a rudderless contradiction, totally devoid of attack or identity.

The only question is what circumstances/how long will it take before Random Event X causes a chemical reaction across the roster that will see them re-organize and become the championship-worthy team that made it this far. If ever.

Did I hear correctly that Kane held onto the puck and then shot it, allowing Raask to make the save?

Still think the Hawks are playing a decent game. Huge kill here. Can't go down 2 vs these guys.

Better than the first period, but they are still getting manhandled. At least they are firing at the net quicker. Sharp has been firing all night.

Jaromir Jagr played against the Hawks in the finals in 92. 21 years later and he's in the finals vs the Hawks again. That's pretty amazing.

The Hawks are playing like this is a scrimmage or something.

One of these teams brings consistent effort and has a good grasp on a successful style of play. The other team doesn't have a fucking clue of what to do or what's going on.
