Last week he was saying D WADE is washed up and done--Wade went for 30+ points that night.

Cowley needs to stop with the NBA stuff and go back to waxing Ozzie's car.

I'm no Cowley fan, but he was still right about Wade despite the big game he had. Wade obviously wasn't able to follow that performance up with anything comparable and I doubt we'll see offensive numbers like that from him again in this series.

Kid, now that we are finally on the same NBA page, I say we start a joint business venture. #SanAntonioSTRONGEST t-shirts. What do you think?

Without a needle, Wade is done

How can you say Wade's Game 5 performance wasn't comparable to Game 4? He was the best Heat player on the court until Ray Allen turned back the clock in the 4th.

No. LeBron was the best player on the court the entire night.

It's true. LeBron shooting 33% is still more valuable than a D Wade that goes 10/10 from the field. But then again, you don't ever seem to put a lot of stock into defense when it comes to NBA players.

Bulls need a Monta Ellis.

A Kevin Martin would be better.

If the Bulls could get a Lebron James, they would be in great shape.

Wouldn't you worry about Martin's age and decreased effectiveness as anything other than the no. 1 option? He put up 20+ scoring in Sacramento, but his production dipped when he took a backseat to Durant and Westbrook in OKC. At this point in his career, I'm probably passing if there are other options available.

The only way Boozer leaves this team is by amnesty or when his contract runs out. No one is going to trade for him, unless David Kahn or Isiah Thomas get hired as GMs elsewhere. Then there might be a chance.

I'd be all for moving either of those three guys to bring in Kevin Martin.

Good point. I thought he had three years. Salaries that high are definitely movable in the last year or so of the contract. While I'll agree he's productive, I don't think he's a difference maker. I'm betting he's looked at as a guy who makes "difference-maker" money, so that's why I don't think he's an attractive trading piece until more time passes on his contract.

If anyone watched Game 5 and thought LeBron was the best player on the court for the entire game they should be drug tested. Wade was pretty much the only player that appeared to have his head in the game. LeBron just didn't look like himself. He wasn't aggressive for long stretches of the game. As I said Wade's Game 4 and 5 were comparable. The Heat Big 4 scored 90 points

Anything other than a R.I.P. Hamilton/Keith Bogans would be better. I'd be happy with Brandon Paul in the 2nd round.

How annoying was it that Rip turned into Rip in literally his last game?

Very annoying. Too little, too late. Maybe it had to do with Thibs not trusting Rip, but at that point, I wouldn't have trusted him, either.

Hated the Rip signing from the start. They should have targeted Mayo or Crawford. Maybe they did and didn't have enough money or something, I forgot. Hamilton was never the answer. Pax needs to stop idolizing the 2004 Pistons. You should never idolize the exception that proves the rule.

I don't remember reading anything about them even making a play for Mayo or Crawford. I wanted Crawford at the time.

What about Juwan Howard? Give D Rose someone to chat with while wearing suits on the bench.

Chris Bosh sound bite from this AM saying the Heat are going to blanket Danny Green. If they obsess on Green, Popovich will just have Green run around outside the arc as a decoy for the defense and run pick and rolls and back door cuts all game. Duncan will go for 30. Parker and Manu will look like they're in a pre-game lay up line.

isn't Danny Green's styleof shooting show the only reason this guy's in the league:
