Travis just absolutely destroyed one and came 3 feet from tying the game in the bottom of the 9th. 2nd and 3rd with 1 out for the Hoosiers. Have I mentioned that Kid can really hit.

That is awesome that LSU is eliminated. Don't care for them and a lot of people thought they would cruise through this tournament.

Never been a college baseball fan but been watching a few games this tournament.

Given the relative proximity, I'd be interested in going to this in the near future...but for the love of all that is holy, can they move the fences in at that stadium? I've seen more homers from an all lefty lineup in MVP 2004.

I couldn't agree more. The ball that kid from Oregon St hit should have been a game winner and Travis' shot should have tied the game. TD Ameritrade was built before they introduced the new BBCOR bats and would have played great in the gorilla-ball era. I would be very surprised if they don't bring in the fences in the very near future.

I thought about including this in the "Best Two Weeks In Sports" thread, but the overwhelming majority wouldn't agree. They're wrong, as usual.

Omaha itself was an unexpected blast, and last weekend watching IU/Louisville in a Bloomington bar was a ball.

I agree. IU losing would qualify for that thread.
