i've got a youtube bootleg of the KLF's stadium house trilogy going on right now.... holy shit, this hearkens back to a day and age when pop music was cool. i wish i could say the same nowadays... but as it's been pointed out, the problem is that it's still cool and i'm not.... c'est la vie! ---- as always, click on the picture to hear/see what i'm talking about. it's only 3 songs FFS...

I listened to the first half of the new CD by The National on the way to work today. Liked what I've heard so far.

Does anyone like The Screaming Trees and/or Mark Lanegan? I listened to sample from a few songs off of Blues Funeral last night and think I am going to get it. I used to like The Screaming Trees but kind of forgot about them and didn't even know that Lanegan had his own band.

I really like Screaming Trees; very underrated. Lanegan solo I can't really handle...it's a little too much into the "smoky/slow/depressing/singer-songwriter" territory for me, I can't handle too much of it.

Lanegan's work with Queens Of The Stone Age is also top notch. He usually does a couple songs on each of their albums, and they're usually the best.

This is a good album. I love the way all the songs segue into each other so well without being a concept album or rock opera or anything. It reminds me of More Songs About Buildings and Food in that regard.

I like it. Nice nod to The Downward Spiral theme at the end.

Just noticed this on Spotify. I guess it was released like 3 weeks ago. Should of been on this much earlier.

by the way it does need to be said that while this album is certainly very good, the 1st one rocks much more and imo is much better
