It's very easy to do that for a show that nobody is listening to.

Had a buddy who bragged he would get us a good table in a fancy restaurant that would be slammed during lunch. He knew a guy.

We showed up, and there were like 20 tables open.

What did you ask?

Told them I had a friend who owned the Cubs, maybe you heard of him Tom Ricketts?

Not too busy. He called yesterday and said watching the Cubs now was like watching his wife golf. Its real bad right now, but in the long run he hopes it will get better.

Is biggie really bragging about getting on the air? Damn man, c'mon on. We expect that from the Steves of the world, not our fearless leader.

FF you wanna go the Frank route and ridicule all, thats fine, I will just place you on the special bus.

First I posted it instead of replying to 3 people who texted me and asked if I really just called in.

Second, it was to signify me listening to CJ instead of Larry and Meat. Will it last? I dont know, but the radio in the office and home are now switched to AM 1000 until further notice.

I like the new format in that there is no longer an hour of the Herd from 1-2pm on am1000. So I can switch from Mac to an hour of Carmen and Jurko, followed by Silvy and Waddle. But when Mac is away......it's am1000 all day. I heard your call BF and it was the first time I had heard you express your thoughts on air in some time. I would encourage you to call more often.

I would encourage you to call less often.

Well, the advice Stu Gotz passed along from Danny Mac applies here....
