I see Zimmerman as one of those classic clowns that have watched Death Wish too many times and want to be a cop, but would never pass the psych test. So this over zealous idiot starts up a neighborhood watch, then he gets his concealed carry permit. Now he thinks he's "John Law" and he's gonna decide who the thugs are. You throw in some latent racism, and you have a recipe for disaster. I wasn't on the jury, didn't follow the trial, and don't know all the facts. From what I've weeded though, I see an over zealous wannabe who overreacted, and went vigilante on this kid. Whether this Martin kid was trouble or not, I think murdering him went way over the line of justice.
