Murph, when you ask someone a question, don't interrupt them when they are trying to answer, don't make wierd noises while they talk, don't try to cut them off, just shut the hell up and listen to the their answer.

Murph just asked Paruch a question and because Paruch knows baseball and Murph doesn't, Brian knew the answer, but typical Murph style, he can't keep his big-ass mouth shut for 10 seconds. What a piece.....

That's an underrated aspect of Murph's annoyance. I love how he goes "uh huh", "yeah", "sure" while someone is talking. Exactly what people do when they aren't listening at all and just trying to rush that person to finish so they can start talking again. Which is Murph in a nutshell

Exactly. So why does Murph ask the question when he doesn't really care to hear the answer? To me, this defines arrogance: when someone doesn't really care what anyone else says or thinks because in their mind it can't be better than what they say or think. Unfortunately, Murph makes a fool of himself when he acts like this in the presence of someone like Stoney who CLEARLY has more to think and say about baseball than Murph ever has or will.

Why was he talking about who would win in an interleague series this weekend? What a stupid what if question.

Don't question Murph's "what if's"....that really makes him creepy mad.
