Another season of semi intelligible ramblings on a day and hour that should be devoted to breaking down the game. If I wanted to hear players I would listen to interviews.

Yeah. But you get to hear Zac whisper questions to the players in dramatic fashion. Like he's interviewing a murder suspect or somthing.

I swear to God I've never heard anybody ask "So how will the shot gun help you this year?" with the breathless, life or death anticipation that a Zac Zaidman does.

Ah...Bears All Access! You know...for some odd and unexplicable reason I used to find this show insightful. Maybe it was because I enjoyed listening to Mushin Muhammad and Peanut Tillman making Zach uncomfortable. Peanut's impression of Zach was priceless. But really, all it comes down to is Zach (and the callers) asking the players about the same stuff they get asked about all week.

Zach always has the same people on the show and they always say THE SAME STUFF. There's really no insight from the Bears players, either. Have you ever noticed that? They have these canned answers to everything. I get more information about the Bears players from reading that Larry Mayer beat-off who writes the "Chalk Talk" column on the Bears' webpage. Dare I say...Larry Holmes can offer more insight during the week during the Bears Reports than one hour of Zach?

Bottom line, I think Zach was sitting there one day thinking about how he can get more involved in the Bears Beat. He thought to himself, "I'll just regurgitate all the stuff we've covered so far this week and compact it into a show and call it "Bears All Access! I'll put a player on the air...but he doesn't have to do much. Just show up, treat the callers with a little respect and eat the Culvers we put in front of him. I'll also give away Slurpees...because everyone likes those!"

When I'd catch this show last fall, it had a real jock-sniffy feel to it.

Especially on Thursdays with the Peanut and Moose Vaudeville act....that was a waste of time. Are they doing that again?

This show is pretty brutal. All it really does is show what a homer Zach is.
