11.5 is a big number...everything has to go right. The NFL is so unpredictable that I like the under on those 11.5's.

Especially considering they just lost their best receiver.

Whenever I see a 12, I usually hit the under. 12 would push, so it would take 13 for the bet to lose.

I think there is more to be made on the crappy teams.

Take the under on Jags, Browns, Raiders, Jets.

You like the under on the Bears? That team always seems to beat expectations but that was in the Lovie Smith vs the world era.

It'll be fun regardless. Without Lovie, the team will fall about and fracture quickly if things go bad. But if Trestman can get something out of Jay, that would be a thing.

Yeah, this is my typical preseason meatballism. If you told me they were going to finish 5-11 I wouldnt be shocked either.

If that's number of games Cutler makes it through before getting injured, take the under.

There isn't much love there for the NFC North. I wanted to go short on the Vikings, Lions and Packers but those numbers are set very low.

Don't get me wrong. I know better than anybody it's a long season. At least half of these will come down to the last week. But of my 12 bets on season totals, every team I bet UNDER lost on opening week. All of my OVER teams, except one (Redskins), won on opening week..

11-1. Just the odds of that happening are pretty amazing. I had no match ups conflicting with my bets. Obviously didn't realize that when I bet them. So, good start. I'm loving that Pittsburgh UNDER now.
