I try using it, but I feel a large percentage of establishments are either not in there or do not update their portion, so more times than not, I stay away.

I have found this to be the case. There are some that update all the time and others that don't/

She's got 3 rotating taps (2 Revolutions and 1 Founders currently) and about 30-35 bottles. 3 or 4 Three Floyds, 3 LaGunitas 3 or 4 Bells, 3 Revolutions, Some Boulevard, some Flying Dog. Nothing earth-shattering, but solid, for a restaurant. People are generally surprised. None of those Banana Cream Pie Stouts that Dr. Ken is so fond of.

Still can't figure out if it costs anything to get listed.

Leadbelly. It's on Irving Park near Central on the NW side. Their menu is on the website, the beer list, unfortunately, is not. Most of the bottles, including the brands I mentioned, are priced at $4.75. The drafts, Stiegl bombers, and a few others are 5.25. Super reasonable.

Went to Taps Ale house in Mokena over the weekend and tried 3 new beers

Kentucky bourbon ale
Robert the Bruce
Two Brothers Hop centric

1&3 were really good. RTB was just ok.

Service was excellent as well for a Saturday night and the food was pretty damn good as well.

Taps Ale House is pretty damn good, try Tribes Ale House in Tinley, as well.

Two Brothers is some solid beer. I've tried the Outlaw IPA and it's the bomb.

Jackref came by last night to delve into some Heady Topper. Good dude. Good times were had.

Next door. Mike's is now the Martini Club. Leadbelly used to be a pizza place. They're almost across the street from Irving Park Bowl, site of one of the early CSFMB bowling outings.

Nice, even, not really bitter but some good flavor.

You didn't follow the instructions on the can!

I only poured out a couple ounces into the glass so I could get a good look at it. But I don't agree with the can instructions. You get more hop aroma when it is exposed and you are inhaling as you are drinking from the proper glass, not when it is confined to the can. But to each their own and I respected the can and its wishes for the most part

I think the smell improves when poured but the taste is best from the can. The other reason not to pour is because the appearance isn't particularly attractive. I do love coming across reviews on Beer Advocate which say stuff like "I'm pretty sure this is my favorite beer but it won't be scored that way because the look of the sediment grossed me out."

Got scared that I might have had my last one so I picked up a case of RuinTen. I love that beer.

Had a Hop Juice Black yesterday and it was tremendous. Chus, are those still available at the tap house?
