OMG! Yes,it's me the human fire alarm. My beef with the Cubs is if you don't have the players from the farm fill the holes with decent hitters. Stop lying to yourselves Cub fans, this sucks and might be worse than last year. Keppinger and Kevin Youkilis would have plugged a few holes and given the Cubs some respectatble major league hitters. It would have cost about 32 mil.(Youk gets 12 mil this season & Kep 20 mil for 4 seasons?) It also would give the Cubs a chance to win THIS year. Right now, they have the look of a bad aaa team with that hacked up lineup.

This is the last season I disagree with you Jimmy. If next year looks like more of the same, I'm jumping in the Pasta bandwagon and calling for the retread vets.

Did the 3rd basemen give up 6 runs in the first 2 innings today or blow a couple of the games late in Atlanta?

I didn't think so.

The offense isn't very good jimmy, I will grant you that. But the Cubs pitching is not that much better.

It gives them a better HITTING lineup. In case you forgot there IS an extra playoff spot to shoot for. It's not far fetched.

Same. I've been more than prepared for two years of absolute shit baseball but by next season I need to start seeing improvement and part of this so called "plan". It doesn't have to be playoffs, but I need to see something that resembles this Theo ball I've heard so much about.

I would just be happy if they cut Lillibridge.

Both those players suck shit. And....you got the retread veterans you wanted with Hairston and Schierholtz and they suck shit too.

My guy! Now that would enable the Cubs to win THIS year.

A message to Theo from his skipper??

"You can only have so much patience," manager Dale Sveum said. "Obviously they were great to us through some hard times last year and understood the process of what's going on in the organization. But there's only so much you can take, especially when you've got some of the best fans in the country — passionate and with a following.

"It's not just Chicago. We have a following throughout the whole country. The patience has to give way sometimes. That's just the nature of the beast."

Jimmy, the offense is one of the STRONG points

If you wanna bitch, then bitch about the pitching. Especially the bullpen.

This club would have two more wins if Theo just cut Marmol out of spring training.

Just a bump to remind folks what the Cubs skipper said earlier this season.
