I am looking to purchase a Blu-Ray player and I need some suggestions. Mostly I am just looking for a player with wifi as an added option.

i picked up a marked down (65 bucks,I think)magnavox at Walmart about a year ago. It works great on my cheap (528.00) LED 46" Westinghouse TV. I also bought a marked down soundbar on Amazon (44 bucks)which sounds pretty good,too.You don't have to spend a lot for decent home entertainment.

Most of the newer Blu Ray players can do most of that stuff without the exception of the last two or three items on your list.

I just bought a $100 Sony one from Best Buy that was an open box for $39.99.

I just can't spring $250 to $300 for a PS3 at the present moment. In some cases Best Buy clearances electronics cheaper than private party sales or eBay, so I can't argue with a Sony Blu Ray player for $40.
