Apparently it IS possible for the Bears to play good special teams without Dave Toub, & it IS possible for the Bears defense to get turnovers without Lovie. Shea Mac, Bostick & Long played like beasts tonight. Maybe this Phil Emery knows what hes doing? Although he had an easy act to follow. Forte is gonna have a career year this year. How refreshing is it to see a Bears head coach calling the offensive plays? When did that last happen...Ditka? I cant wait to see this offense when they start clicking around week 3 or 4.

BEARSSS!!!

He's not awful at this. There are plenty better. Just giving him a little credit. I think he's heard the critics and tries not to do his bullshit when he's calling an NFL game.

Yeah< I always liked him. I get a kick out of his shtick.

He was ridiculously bad. Calling out players that weren't even close to the play on at least 4 occasions.

When Wooten got a sack he said it was someone else. Can't remember who. He didn't annoy me as much as he usually does which made him good but yeah he found a different way to be bad.

Each team has a roster of 90,so I will spare him. I did notice it to,though. So what about Dilfer? At least he sounds excited about his job.

It was McClellin. They have a similar look about them.

I'd give him a break if it was buried in the 4th quarter for Jimmy Bumblefuck from Cutoff Jean-Shorts State U. But this was early with the starting guys like Wooten, McClellin, etc. Any amount of game prep should have at least educated him to the starting guys.

I have some charts that conclusively prove that throwing the precious, precious ball to the other team, statistically, leads to more losses than throwing the ball to your own teammates. Our game plan, and it's something I developed in Canada to great success, is to throw the ball to our own team.

That's why I have so many "get to know you" team-building exercises so Jay realizes there are other guys on the team besides Brandon.

That way, when Jay Cutler sees Alshon Jeffery during a game, his brain automatically connects "that guy is on my team, his name is Alshon, A-L-S-H-O-N, he's that guy with a last name for a first name and a first name for a last name, he likes techno-punk music, and his favorite color is clear, I could throw the ball to him."

This is going to work or there will be an involuntary reduction in personnel.
