I'm starting to think that J Webb has pictures of one of the McCaskey's doing naughty things. There is no other rational explanation why he would still be on an NFL roster.

Stupid is a very unplaced word.

Unplaced has no place, and there you go.

He does have some unique physical traits. It's like a buster 7 footer having a 10 year NBA career.

Really, the only thing separating Webb from being a good player is desire. The guy would be the perfect Buddhist but that doesn't translate well onto the football field. Most guys don't get the "I don't give a fuck" attitude until after that first big contract so this guy must REALLY not give a fuck.

I wonder if Nas still thinks J'Marcus Webb, Chris Williams and Lance Louis are the future of the Bears offensive line.

I still don't get why they let Louis walk away. I thought he was considered the best of the bunch, although that's not exactly high praise when you play for the Bears' o-line.

Yeah. At least he had the right attitude.

They didn't let him walk. Miami offered him more money, so he went there. Can't fault the guy for that, but you also can't fault the Bears for not upping their offer to an Olineman coming off an ACL tear.

Louis was given I think 200k in guaranteed money due to his injury. He's currently on the 2nd team for Miami, who is frantically shuffling guards trying to find a good combo... and they aren't starting Louis. Sounds like the Bears made the right move. And he may actually get cut, too.

Did not know about the money differential. This sucks for Louis because I don't think he'd be struggling to make a roster had he not been blindsided by Jared Allen.

It's actually only 100k. Bet he's cut:

Quote:
The deal is worth exactly $1,603,750 for one year, but his only guarantee is his $100,000 signing bonus. The contract includes a roster bonus of $763,750 – presumably based on him making the Week 1 roster – and has a base salary of $715,000. - See more at: http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedaily ... 8G9e2.dpuf
