It may do that for many, I don't disagree. It doesn't for me, and my main objection has more to do with the whole brain damage thing than anything else.

As for bloodlust, I guess I look toward movies for that sort of stuff. I'm not into it when it comes to sports, or at least not projecting it on to something like football (or that's how I see it).

I could do without the collisions too. I'd rather watch a guy go 70 yards for a touchdown. Football may one day be played with two less people per side to open the field more and I wouldn't like it any less.

Not sure where I fall on this list. I enjoy all aspects of the game to be sure. I must admit though when I see a hit like Bostic laid the other game I hit the edge of my seat and make man sounds. Maybe different because I played as a youth? Judging from people in my circles though it is not too uncommon.
