I remember Renfro's days of coaching the L.A. Express... they probably would have won it all in 1984, but the Coliseum was closed for repairs for the Olympic games, so they had to play the conference championship on the road and lost.

I know this is kind of Button 48 stuff, but I met Pilar Lastra at one of those Joliet Raceway things. She was there with Deanna Brooks....very nice ladies. I can't remember how it went down, but Deanna wanted a picture taken with someone and I was standing there. She yelled over at me and asked if I could take a pic with her and some lady. Then I made her and Pilar's acquantance and they invited me back to their trailer where they both gave me autographed pics. I was walking with Pilar to the trailer. My God is she ever beautiful as well as super nice. This was around 2008, I believe. I used to listen to her and Miriam's show on the Playboy Radio on Sirius when they had their show together. What else was she doing in town or was she a phone in?
