Speaking of Rose,I just saw some report on a female skier who had the same injury.
She was back on the slopes in like 7 months. Skiing has to be as hard or harder on your knees than basketball.

reason #4,309 why rose is a bitch. i will laugh for years if he comes out terrible. he has NO, NADA, ZERO excuse. game #1 he should be playing like the league MVP. there is simply no possible explanation for a slow start, however i look forward to hearing what the excuse is.

Duncan, Aldridge, Griffin, Randolph, Love, Lee, to start

Duncan has maybe 1 or 2 years left. He is somewhat of a liability on defense.
Aldridge is no question better, but he probably won't leave Portland.
Griffin has improved his game, but he also disappears in the playoffs and is not clutch.
Randolph has post moves, but he also disappeared in the playoffs against the Spurs.
Love continues to get hurt on a regular basis and has not played in the playoffs ever.
Lee is somewhat better, but he got hurt in the playoffs and couldn't do much for his team.

What all of these guys have in common is that they are on teams that cannot beat the Heat. The Bulls are ultimately hoping for Mirotic to come over because in 2 or 3 years most of the players on the above list will no longer be relevant.
