I think it's to forward the story I predicted during RAW. Joe is going to lose the IC title, and lose to Punk. Heyman is beaten per the stipulations, and he fires Joe on RAW. He could introduce Big E as his new client, as was predicted by some other smart people here. I like it. It creates a new, realistic feud for Punk on his way to the Mania main event.
