Patriots are pretty bad, so far this year. I know they have injuries, but I think Belichek's hubris is killing them by thinking he can turn shit into playmakers for Brady.

They're really forcing Brady to prove he is the best QB of this era. He is playing with crap. Does anyone know the guy he threw a touchdown pass to? He still makes it look easy. It's criminal what they've put around him for most of his career.

Good lord. I may need to drop Tom Brady from my fantasy team after a couple more weeks of this shit. His numbers are Mark Sanchez bad. At least he is not throwing picks.

The Patriots have the most clean skin I have ever seen on an offensive line in years. I don't see any ink at all.

He's made pretty much all of his WR's. Even Moss was a reclamation project.

Colts o-line is awful, and their running backs can't block either. No reason you lose to the Dolphins at home, that's a bad loss. Redskins look awful. Bear pull out another lucky one. Really don't see them better than 8-8, but the NFL is a bs league, and teams don't show up half the time.

I enjoy the NFL, but not nearly as much as college football.

The Redskins were my pick for the most overrated team going into the season. They ll be lucky to win 7 games.

Maybe I should rethink my Giants love. Turnovers at every corner, and the supposed "breakout" RB has something like 20 yards after two games. Someone in the Bears chat said the NFC East could have a bunch of teams go 8-8, and one go 4-12...now I think he's right.

schiano isn't exactly helping the situation. i never thought much of freeman anyway.

but christ the saints should've killed this team. their offense is really slow going so far this year. i'm happy with the defense though.

Got the witness the 'Skins whitewashing in person yesterday. The Lambeau faithful are, by far, the nicest fans I've ever encountered. The lady next to me started semi-rooting for the 'Skins when it was 31-0. She could tell how pissed I was at their piss poor play.

Haha! I know her intent was to be nice, but that is such a depressing story.

Sorry Greg - nothing against the 'Skins in particular.

What's your take on Brees? I sort of thought he was in an early stage of decline last year with all the INTs, and I have no idea what to think about the TB game even after he had a good game against ATL. Or are the other variables at play, such as the line, etc.

Yeah, I know. Went there with my dad, so that made the trip worth it. Think we're going to make this (trip to see a Redskins game) an annual thing.

First Cincy sack - 4 minutes in. Maybe the Bear O-line really is good. It's sure as hell better than the Packers'.

brees had a slow start in 2010 too. i think the problem with payton's offenses is that they abandon the run too early a lot of the time. doesn't help that ingram can't push the line forward.

he doesn't seem to have the same zip on the ball though. but he did show flashes last year. their o-line is banged up a bit and not as talented as in previous years, either.

I see...well, maybe he set standards that are so high that it's nearly impossible to sustain. He's still fun to watch.

The Steelers look really bad, which makes the prospect of a Bears loss in PA slightly more embarrassing than losing to Christian Ponder.

i think the bears will be fine against pittsburgh.

oh and the saints *really* blow in bad weather. i'm already assuming they'll lose in chicago and seattle. they usually beat up the bucs in tampa but if the weather sucks, it plays against their strengths on offense. again, because they're not very effective at running the ball. i'm still kinda mad they let ivory go.

hey tom skilling, that game is in three weeks, not the middle of winter. They are just as likely to be playing in sunny, 70 degree weather as rain in early October.

i would have given them a better chance in a place like florida to play in good weather and they played in shit weather...that could certainly be the case here, too, with our unpredictable octobers.

if it's 70 and sunny, i'll give the edge to the saints. kay? :D
