Finally won an Emmy for his guest role on Big Bang Theory.

But Hollywood hates his ass so much they gave it to him during the award show for back stage people that is not televised.

I'm glad Bob is still with us -- he deserves even more honors. I did see him guesting on Big Bang.

Sadly though we've lost both of his longest-running "TV wives" -- Mary Frann (Newhart) and, more recently, Suzanne Pleshette (The Bob Newhart Show).

Funny,I was just watching him on Youtube roasting Don Rickles. I loved Bob's 2nd show the best when he owned the lodge. A lot of laughs on that one.
