Do other on-air news personalities get into this little Twitter slap-fights or is it mainly the sports-talk radio guys? I get the impression that Weigel won't get too involved (he doesn't seem to have too much respect for several people at WSCR and I suspect that's a common sentiment in the industry) and Laurence and Coppock will continue to embarrass themselves.

Coppock telling someone they have a huge ego is pretty rich. Not that he's necessarily wrong about Leery, although if I had to guess I'd say Laurence's attitude isn't borne of him being overly impressed with himself as much as it is a product of his insecurity and lack of self awareness. He comes off well when he sticks to the script, so to speak, but any variance from that results in disaster and unintentional comedy. I almost feel bad for him that he doesn't have any friends or family to pull him aside and clue him in. We can't be the only people who see/hear these things and cringe.

On the flip side, Lauren Jiggets last name actually has hurt her thru her career.
