It's the Cards that are giving me hives. This week is important to both the Brewers and the Cub. The Cards could either be buried or be in first place come Monday. Regardless, all three teams blow.

What facts are you revealing. The Tampa move early in JR baseball career was widely reported and is remembered by all Sox fans who lived through that hostage situation.

JR fired Harry and Jimmy
JR hired Hawk as GM who fired a young Dave Dombrowski and Tony La Russa
EE put them on pay TV
JR pushed for the white flag trade
JR was instrumental in locking out the players when the Sox had its best team in my lifetime
JR personally chose the design of the Cell in order to maximize suites (some of which, have not even been built out to this day for lack of interest). It was the last of the cookie cutters when he was given a design to be the first of the retro parks

The list goes on and on for JR missteps. What is the point?

agreed. i dont ever remember reading a post here which wholeheartedly praised JR, just that he isnt as cheap anymore. and if you look at the payroll the sox have had over the last few seasons, and some of the bigger name free agents they have signed or players they have traded for, you could might be able to put together a loose argument that the sox have never been cheap.

the cell sucked when it was first built. with the renovations they've done over the past half decade, its a great place to see a game-- even in the upper tank
