That was about as conservative of an offensive gameplan as I have seen and running the clock out with almost two minutes left in the 2nd quarter was straight out of the Lovie playbook

Um, what?

They scored 2 touchdowns, were directly responsible for another touchdown drive by giving the Bears the ball at the 17 yard line, and were responsible for another field goal by giving the Bears the ball at the 29 yard line. That's 24 points they were either completely responsible for or at least equally responsible for.

The defense was the star of the game.

I said they were very opportunistic with turnovers. They got turnovers, and they turned them into points, and that's great. But they also gave up a shitload of yards. We know from last year that you can't count on scoring off turnovers; that comes and goes. They need to do a better job not getting ass-fucked in the passing game.

That roughing the kicker penalty totally changed the game. And then the idiotic safety blitz on the next drive.

I actually said that while watching the game. That was ridiculously weak. My thought was, hey, you give up a touchdown, and suddenly you're only up one touchdown and the Steelers are in a game. And that's exactly what happened. Choosing not to try score is so, so faggity.

Mills and Long need to get stronger, but it's still like watching two Pro Bowlers after past seasons. At least they are in the right spots, and the pick up of the blitz and kick out block on Forte's long run was impressive.

The Bears were 2 point favorites & won by 17.

10-6 looks like a lock now & 12-4 might be achievable.

I do the same thing jimmypasta. Although the Pittsburgh writers gave no praise to the Bears, just the Steelers blow goats.
