So far, so good. Especially considering how the pick was universally hailed as a mistake.

However, the main reason you were drafted was to handle the likes of Suh and Fairley twice a year.

But I do not think Emery had Suh and Fairley in mind. I don't think anyone on the Detroit Lions crossed their minds when preparing their draft plan.

I think a 1.5 out of 2 might be a better grade.

#99 is not a total bust yet. No doubt he is playing out of position.

I hate to say it but Hub was right even if it is for the wrong reasons. They reached for a guy they probably could have gotten in the 2nd round. Long may turn out to be fine but it wasnt a value pick, that's for sure.
