Saints appear to be the heavy favorite for this week. Can't see the Dolphins beating them in the Superdome.

14 of the 15 eligible opted back in.

Colts, Bengals, Broncos, and Saints covers about 90% of the picks.

Started with 97. Down to 85.

We're down to 56 (50 if NO loses tonight). Cincinnati took out 16. Someone had Dallas  Leaning towards Atlanta for week 5.

Use the Rams. They are home against JAX. You will need ATL later.

I was looking at the Jags schedule and thought if they were gonna surprise anyone it would be the rams

Yeah I mapped it out for the season and I have the Rams in Week 5 too, but Bradford and Co can be really disappointing. I know because as I mentioned in another thread, Bradford has been my QB in the Nas CSFMB FF league for the past 3 years.

If you haven't used the Falcons yet, they look like a good choice for W5 as well.

Take comfort in knowing it won't be your strategy was flawed, it will be the teams.

Mapping out the season is the best strategy. When there are hundreds of players, you will need to go close to 17 weeks, if not all 17. I lost with a 7 point fav. This is the NFL. It happens. I would rather plan it out, and lose with a 7 pt fav, then get stuck with a three point favorite later in the year. Mathematically, I made the correct move.

The purpose of threads like this, is to help others out. If you just want to be a dick, and dance on my grave, then I will show myself out. Good luck, fellas.

Let's say you save GB for week 17. Rodgers blows his knee out in week 14. Then what? How the hell do you know how a team will look two months from now? Hell, two weeks from now can be a completely different story.

You can dance on my FF grave. I started Rod Streater yesterday over Bowe and Mike Williams. I'm just busting your balls. I will do the same in person when we grab beers. It's good-natured.

I agree with both of you, actually.

This is my 3rd year doing a Survivor League. The first year, I was out after Week 2. Last year, I was out after Week 3 (and that was with the optional buy back in   )

Provided the Saints win tonight, I'm assured of making it at least until Week 6 for the first time so I definitely enjoy this thread to get others' thoughts.

Rodgers or no Rodgers, taking GB in week 17 would be sabotaging yourself, my friend. For in week 17, the Packers play a certain team, from a certain midwestern town, that begins with a C, ends with an O, and in the middle is HICAG.

Its been an easy year so far. Like you I'm usually out in week 2 or 3

The Jaguars being so bad and Den and Sea being so good at home makes it easier

I've made 8 picks. 3 fading the Jags and thee on Sea or Den

Not sure about this week. Probably Rams and Falcons. Trying to put the surest pick on the first one, so I can use Denver over Jags next week.

Of the 5 that picked Houston, 1 is eligible for a buy back in.

For Week 7, my top choices are:

1. Packers at home beating the Browns.

2. Also looking at Chargers beating the Clownin' for Clowney Jaguars (but hard for West Coast teams to travel to East Coast)

3. And you would think the Giants at home could beat the Vikes, right?
