Their sound is atrocious right now. You can hear the ball hit the catcher's mitt, a fraction of a second before it gets there. Horrible.

They also should get one for not showing The Big Bang Theory in the normal time slot. Can't baseball be moved to TBS2 or TBS.com?

TBS is just awful with their coverage all around.

that actually wouldn't be a bad idea

Ernie is actually a decent play by play guy, but it's just unnatural and weird for him to be calling baseball - to me, anyways- just always associate him with the NBA. why not move him back to the studio with chuck and the rest and yeah, Harlan would be great on play by play. i know you were joking but i think it would work

to add to the nomination, why do they have to have the Pitch Trax box up all the time ???

i can see showing it during a lengthy at bat, when it's 3-2, after a big at-at as a replay, etc.

but it does not need to be on the screen all the time it's very annoying

Fox started that fake sound shit. I'm surprised they never really have been called out on it especially when they expanded it into their football highlights. It sounds like a radio baseball broadcast form the 1950's where the announcer hit two pieces of wood together next to the microphone to simulate the sound of the ball hitting the bat.
