Apparently Pujols is suing Jack Clark who said he believes Pujols was taking PEDs.

The outburst which led to Clark's firing was a few months ago. The actual litigation (presumably for defamation of character or some such) is current.

Obviously nobody is exempt from suspicion. If Pujols was on something, he must have been on it since the minors, as he never really looked different, and mashed pretty much out of the gate.

Pujol's relationship with the personal trainer began when he was still in high school or juco or wherever he was before he was a Cardinal I thought. Jack Clark knows whats up.

I will say this, the guy did come out of nowhere. I drafted him year 1 in a roto league. I think it was Duncans kid who told LaRussa about how good this guy was. yet, take a look at Alberts Minor league numbers. Played 1 year of Minor league ball at A, A+ and AAA, with 19 HR's combined. 17 of them in A! Nothing says "Greatest of All Time"

I know he had an amazing Spring that year and thats why LaRussa brought him up.

Additionally, sitting with a Scout in Pujols last return to Wrigley as Cardinal, the guy said he is breaking down and the big break is coming real soon. Then he wont be able to keep his strength up, etc. All he told me was he didnt see the Cardinals resigning him for the money and term he would want.

It is amazing, because just when you think someone has the worst deal in team sports, someone tops it! 8 more years at 25M per?
