Maddon should've walked Pedroia to load the bases with only 1 out and runners on 2nd and 3rd.

That or play the infield in. Anything but playing back and just let the tying run walk home.

No 5th K, but I take solace he had to watch Juan Fucking Uribe's bat flip for the go-ahead homer. He can reasonably start him in games 1, 4, and 7 of the NLCS now. If he held him out for game 5 of the NLDS he could only pitch twice.
