I was talking about saturdays or sundays.

Shaer was a giant, condescending douche. He would constantly screw up when giving scores, etc., too. Add Dorothy Humphrey to the mix and it was gun in the mouth radio.

The pairing of Shaer and Memolo was also bad.

I really dislike J Hood. The arrogance of Berns with the intelligence of Fred Heubner. Not a good combo.

That's a pretty good description of Hood. He's similar to Rosenbloom in that he's a D-lister who thinks he's an A-lister.

  I disagree, but that's still funny.

Funny thing about Huebner is I absolutely hated him when he was on the Mike North Morning Show, but he came out the CSFMB Bowling event and he couldn't have been a cooler, more down to earth person.

I was talking about saturdays or sundays.

When I listened it was Saturday morning. Sunday was sports betting at that time iirc.

That whole affair was a train wreck. I think he was trying to be something he was not.

Was Mitch involved in that atrocity?

Is that the traffic girl who sounds like she's sucking on helium? Why is it that so many of these radios dopes, who have a job where there are only two basic qualifications - reading and speaking, cannot do one or the other?

Yup, that's her.

Shaer once chastised a person, in a condescending tone that would have put Bernstein to shame, for saying something on the air that he thought was inappropriate -- "Oh, that's great for the little ones to hear, isn't it?" despite the fact that he once had Dorothy fake an orgasm on the air while calling Tom's name and the name of the guy who did updates (he died years ago and I can't remember his name - he was awful) at the time.

I guess that was OK for the "little ones" to hear.

Agreed, yet I still voted for North. (Who was a good guy & listen for quite awhile)

The problem with Fred was not his personality, it was his unquestioning stance of everything said by the main line host. He spent almost a decade on morning radio in this city through two shows with uttering nothing more challenging than "yes"...and that was with Murph and later North as hosts, so there was plenty worth challenging. I don't blame him. It kept him employed for a decade.

I know he hates me for these thoughts but that's the way it went.

Actually I thought the show became much better when they addede Memolo. It brought actual humor to the show instead of the awkward Shaer solo attempts.

Thank you! He was awful. I don't like Memolo, either.

I'm such a miserable prick. I don't really like much of anybody, I guess.

Top three people you would live happily ever after if you never had to work with them again:

Tom Shaer
Drew Hayes
Julie Swieca

I couldn't stand that one smug sales guy at the end of the hall.......you know, that one that was all ready to step all over anyone that got in his way.

But I'm pretty sure everyone loved Abbey's drawer.

Although I wouldn't vote for him in this case, Mac's 1st go round at the Score fell into this same category after he was paired with Jigs. Very angry radio.

Maybe there was a reason he hated working with Jiggs?

OK, I think there are guys on here that have insider knowledge. Spit it out. I always liked Jiggs. He was a pleasant listen and enjoyed his football talk.
