My oldest daughter is in her senior year of HS. The first year wasn't so great but she really went off the tracks sophomore and the start of junior years. Details not important but she was in trouble, truant and bad grades the whole thing. Well we finally got through to her and some others helped and she has been great since then. She just texted me that during a whole school assembly she was given an award for most improved student. It also came with a $250 prize. Very proud of her hard work.

That's pretty cool. I'd keep the $250 on the down low though in care she wants to run/throw/jump in college :lol:

I was in the same boat when I was in high school and now look at me! :P

Not kidding,at the end of my sophomore year,I had 3.5 credits when I was supposed to at least have 8.
I still graduated in 4 years by doing a lot of catching up.

Congrats to your daughter!

Thx. Yes on the $250 but she so just got 1st job and made a savings. I hammer that a habit of pct saving starting now will save your life later.
