I know they didn't change a ton of stuff but I like it much better than 13. Guys will come after you and drop the gloves if you deliver a hard or dirty hit. You get a fight to for shooting the puck after an offsides which is something I do 100 percent of the time or did. The opposing team will hit you back finally. The passing also seems more realistic.

As for the game itself, it's an alright game but I never play offline. I find the offline AI too flawed for me to enjoy compared to the online, EASHL competition (6 v 6, 12 human players), I do EASHL Clubs and the auto-fighting after clean hits gets annoying. Eventhough my club is the #1 overall club in the world (just like every year, I'm an NHL God), I still haven't been playing as much. I use to play 1000 games a year but only played about 300 in 13. Enough about how I'm the best player in the world though.

The game has made strides forward and I recommend it to any hockey fan that loves video games.

I remeber playing a game with my son when he was small. The NHL guys had big heads and tiny bodies. It was a two on two game I think. Lots of goals.
