Would be hard not to lay down some major bucks tonight on Wainwright and the Cardinals. Rookie starter for Pittsburgh on the road in a deciding game? Sounds like wet the bed time.

I like the Cards, but the line moved against them. I just can't lay -160 or -170 in a series deciding, playoff game.

I may play Cards -0.5, 1st five innings.

I felt the same way. I took the no score 1st inning for a W

No score in the first inning has hit something like 13 in a row across the entire playoffs. I don't see that streak stopping in the near future with these pitching matchups. The juice is starting to get a little high but it really has been money in the bank for a small play each game.

No score 1st inning hit again last night. The Dodgers-Cardinals loaded the bases with no outs, the Tigers had a man thrown out at the plate and still no one has scored. I believe I saw a stat on the broadcast that the Cardinals have yet to score in the first inning in the playoffs...and they face Kershaw tonight. I believe the Dodgers will start out a little soft offensively with the temperature change and playing an elimination game so this streak should keep rolling.

I really hope you guys are jumping on this no score 1 inning run. Tomorrow may be a bit more challenging

I guess I could accept the excuse if you were buying in at the moment. It wasn't that high at the beginning and even at that price, at 14 in a row, that is just letting the man have some of his money back

Stat that is still in play, the Cardinals have not scored a run in the first inning in the post season.

If I was you, I would have continued to ride it.

Yeah, if I could get a line on no runs in the first throughout the series I think I would take it at this point.

It seems crazy to me that the Cardinals are dogs in this series. I know the Red Sox have home field but the Cardinals have superior pitching and the Red Sox offense really hasn't been all that great in the playoffs. Give me Cards +105

Cardinals at +120 to win Series seems like a good bet

I agree. It seems like a toss up. In that case, take the dog.

No run 1 inning back on tonight. Under 7 as well. Boston +1.5 as well. I could see this being 1-0 and really believe it will be no more than 3-2. I would be shocked if it got past 7.

I think this is a signature win at the beginning of an incredibly promising career for Wacha.
