Quick update on our situation here. As of yesterday my daughter has been on her medicine for 4 weeks and this has been her best week yet. She has been able to go through all her softball practices and band practices without any issues. She has not had to sit out or deal with any effects from panic. In the midst of all of this she has had a bunch going on. She got her first quarter report card yesterday and had all A's. Her softball team won their district tournament and won the first round of the state playoffs this past week. Tomorrow they play in the quarterfinals with an opportunity to move on to the state final four.

Thank you to everyone who has shared thoughts and prayers both here and in private messages. I appreciate it all very much.

Any of you know if when you get a blood test to examine thyroid problems if it would tell if their was iron deficiency. Been doing a lot of reading lately on panic and other health issues and it seems that a lot of people are diagnosed with panic and end up having an iron deficiency. The symptoms sound very similar to what my daughter is experiencing.

I do not know definitively .... however I strongly suspect it would only be a matter of checking an extra box on the draw paperwork and maybe an extra vial of the precious juice.

We went ahead and had her iron tested and it was in the normal range.

Hi,
I just noticed the update. I'm glad things are working out. Nothing hurts more then a parent watching their child suffer.
