When you get a guy like him and Brady you can pretty much put anything around them. We're seeing that this season with Brady.

The Pats are not impressive at all, despite the good record. They've got a good defense so year (5th overall in points given up), but they struggle to score points. If Amendola returns, I can see things opening up for Brady, but I don't see them getting past Denver or Indy in the playoffs with that offense.

They've played the Jets twice. Ryan has always had their number. Brady has turned Edelman into a Pro Bowl receiver. He's proven he can be good enough to win SB's even when the offensive talent is suspect.

McCown didn't spend his offseason filming tv shows and going on tabloid interviews. It shows in his play.

I think you're going way overboard with the Edelman praise. He's a very limited WR who doesn't do much after the catch. He'll be irrelevant once Amendola returns, and Thompkins and/or Dobson are further incorporated into the offense.

We both know Amendola will never return and no one should know who those other guys are.

Nobody has seen McCown play in 6 years.

I shudder to think about what an actual team with a real defense preparing for McCown will be able to accomplish. I literally just vomited on my floor.

We've seen it. He's awful. If he turned in one of these performances a couple years ago when Cutler got hurt the Bears make the playoffs. He shouldn't be in the NFL but he's Cutler's babysitter.

This is a big test for Trestman. He was brought in from his igloo to be an offensive genius.

I'm confused. Why is that stadium nearly empty? CFL jokes, aside...

McCown was running around the field like he had no intention of staying in long-term. The Redskins didn't nail him, but you know everyone else watching that tape will be making plans...

And if he gets hurt, what do we have? Presuming they get the 3rd string from camp back (Jordan-somebody,) um, not much. I don't think Cutler's riding to the rescue after resting the bye week...

The last time the Bears scored as many as 3 TD's against GB,McCown was at QB.
He isn't awful. Regardless of the defense of the 'Skins,he made some real nice throws yesterday.

Yes he is awful. Maybe not yesterday but his career history says that was a fluke (helped by a horrendous defense).
