Little things they do, like having a road trip that the Mothers of the players go on and another later in the season that the players fathers go on, is just cool and classy. I have to believe that it fosters a fair amount of additional loyalty from the players, when they see the organization's commitment to them. Classy organization.

I think it's a huge stretch to say that having a guy that scored 609 goals with the organization, now act as an ambassador is somehow an endorsement of domestic abuse because of incidents that took place 3-4 decades ago with that player. They chose to have the connection because he's the best player to ever don the Blackhawk sweater.

Why do I think that it's a huge stretch to say that the Hawks support domestic abuse? Because I think they choose to use Bobby Hull as an ambassador of the organization DESPITE the fact that 3-4 decades ago he had issues the organization most likely regards as anything but okay. They do so because he's the best player in their history and these "issues" have not been in evidence for such a long time that they probably don't believe there is any great likelihood they will resurface again.
