Friday morning I get in my car at 9:08am. I have AM 1000 on and they are talking about Zambrano getting his extension with Bruce Levine. I listen for a minute and I switch over to hear what North has to say. What do I hear? Some crap about an Ethopian Diet? After 20 seconds of this crap I go back over to AM 1000. Not sure what the hell this Ethopian Diet thing is but it sure was cracking Mike up for the 20 seconds I listened. Does he really wonder why his ratings suck?

Well, I'm glad Mac is back next week. This week, because I couldn't tolerate the All-Harry All-Stars, nor could I tolerate the Dan Patrick sux0rz parade, I just moved the dial down. And while B&B and Mully/Hanley were okay, North was just plain brutal.

I think your ethiopian thing morphed into tourist posters: go visit ethiopia because we're on starvation diets, and you need to lose weight. (As opposed to visiting Dr. Gupta, now with offices in Lisle and Rantoul!)

I like the 'BBM read, where it's the same slimy script but read by one of the newsreaders. Quality voice does not make up for the content

Of course, the recent "ED" ad, where Russ plays the Doctor, is just beyond bad. His Sout' Side voice is too associated with with slime ads to carry off playing Marcus Welby..

Bruce is not sent to Bourbonais for a reason...
