Hell, Miller can't block anyone either. Both ends got blown up on the fumble, and it was Miller's guy that got the hit in. I'm hoping that age hasn't caused a huge fall off.

Kornheiser is brutal! I'd rather keep Theisman then have him on this crew. That pathetic intro of how poor Grossman can do no right (uhh maybe there's a reason? more later) basically ripping Chicago fans and Manning can do no wrong ( I wonder if that's because of the ring or the MVP?). Only thing worse than the national media clueless about your team is them acting like they know every little thing about it while being clueless.

Now throughout the whole first quarter he is second guessing every little Rex thing like the people he was ripping in his lame ass scripted intro. Sounding very hypocritical with second guessing, hate this douche, or should I say dueche

Dusty Dvoracek made a spectacular stop on 3rd Down- excellent penetration. The D-line has looked sharp thus far, especially the interior.

Benson has been great at picking up 3 or 4 yards a carry. That's good on 3rd and 2, and he's picked up two short third downs. Otherwise, he needs to show more speed.

Mark Anderson needs to stop running so far upfield.

OK, these Coors light commercials have really run their course. They were mildly interesting last year. Now, they are tedious and forced. And how could they have Dennis Green and not include the "crown their ass" speech?

Hey Tony Dungy, it's a friggin preseason game. We're evaluating talent here, not celebrating your geniusness. Do ya mind?

preseason means nothing i agree, but it cant be ignored that he fumbled a snap AGAIN. i think he was nervous being backed up in his own endzone after turning the ball over twice and he cant handle it. he is gonna look good when everything is flowing. when the pressure is on, even in the preseason, he reverts to all his bad habits.

Refs missed a hold, but I'll take the runback.

If Olin Kreutz was on any other team, I'd hate him. He took a cheap shot on Gary Brackett well after that 3rd down play. Nothing too extreme, just a hard bump about 2 seconds after the play was over. But he's a bear, so I don't care that much.

I know preseason means nothing, but I don't like what I see.
After the fumble, was Rex running away from Hamilton? Did he not like what he was hearing, because he ignored what Hamilton was saying.

This might only apply to Reason but- did anyone else just see the commercial for Pheubus and Koestler law firm? That was the creepiest lawyer I've ever seen in my life. But it was a local Urbana commercial, so I don't think anyone else got to enjoy that one.

We may have the strongest D-line rotation in the NFL.

Hester looks great, but that blocking was almost perfect. It helps when the coverage gets outkicked.

What did Hamilton tell him? Make sure the ball is in your hand before moving your hands from under center?

Whatever Hamilton was saying, Rex didn't want to hear it. At least that's the way it seemed to me.

Muhammad got mugged, but Grossman made a good pass there.

You're young, you will undoubtedly see far creepier barristers as you progress in your chosen field.

I figure he's the type of runner who'll get stronger as the game goes on, so judging him will be difficult in the preseason. Every run is positive, and he's money when you need a yard. I just hope he has the speed for explosiveness.

It should happen, at most, twice a season, not twice a game.

 Actually, I'm with you Nas, I think, and in my lurking days I was right behind you (even though I think we were the only two.) The dropback fumble wasn't his fault, it was on the O-line. But the connection from center to QB just cannot be a question mark in any way.

I will say that, once the ball is in his hands, he has looked pretty good (I know he threw the interception, but that's what happens when DBs take risks on routes they'd never take during the season.) Prediction- that will be ignored in the next 5 days.

The special teams seem to be over their Houston problems.

OK, this just isn't fair. Seriously. They call a short slant to Rasheed Davis on third down for Grossman and an Indy DB takes a huge chance an jumps the route. They call a short slant to Bernard Berrian on the 11 yard line and the cornerback gives him a 10-yard cushion. Jesus, I could make that pass.

He will throw another TD and the media quarterback controversy will start.

What would a Bears season be without a QB controversy?
