Seriously. Bring Goff back from Hotlanta if the Mac thing is going to be permanent. Larry sucks and has no business doing anything but scripted update work. I think Spiegs and Goff has potential. I'm at an 8 on this. I almost punched somebody because that's what happens when I get passed 6. To actually punch someone I need to go to 11.

Going by your scale I'm at a 9. 11 is where a viscously brutalize someone and cut their head off. 12 is when I take them to see a movie.

No. Goff ain't coming back.

Larry has been Mitch's boy for years. Of course they're finally gonna give him a prime time shot. "Hamp and Holmes" was just killing time. I think Mitch had always known he was gonna bring Mac back.

But I think Jurko and Carm are gonna win the battle vs. Spiegel and Larry.

Larry is horrible. It's not even an opinion anymore. It's a fact. He's gonna destroy this time slot for the Score.

I'd most certainly be happy with a Goff return.

At best, he'd come back to do the night show here. But it sounds like he has it better in Atlanta. Pre and Post for the Hawks and full night shows every other week day. Only 82 basketball games. Unlike the 162 Sox games. Not to mention Monday and Thursday night football and Depaul/Illinois hoops. There are basically no night time shows at the Score.

Since they are both CBS stations maybe we could swing a trade? Larry and that annoying nasal female voiceover "talent" that makes me throw up in my mouth a little when I have to listen to her try to swallow the microphone for Goff.

I have been on record as saying Goff and Spiegs is my favorite pairing. It would be appointment radio. Yes please!

I mean, I know we are devoid of a lot of talent on the Chicago sports talk horizon but he was here, he wasn't very good while he was here. He's already a proven bad commodity. When I started this post last year I thought this was the right move, but now that time has passed, and tears subside, I find it all so amusing... They need to completely start over. However, I have read that fatass signed new paper so maybe a new pairing for bar band is the only option. Put him with Coppock until he kills himself maybe?

It took too long to get rid of him, why would you want him back? Now, if they would rid the station of B&B and Larry (LoHo) Holmes, that would be great.
