Nothing fills a nonBear Sunday afternoon like MeTv's Sunday afternoon lineup.
You start with Streets of San Francisco. Karl Malden's nose knows.
Then, you get a little Cannon. Well, there's no such thing as just a little Cannon.
Next is Jim Rockford. Helluva theme song and a great show.
Kojak is the leadin for Columbo because, he loves you baby.
And, Columbo has just one more thing.

My dad and I watched these when I was a yute. He wasn't much on tv, but he liked the tv crime/detective shows. Good times, good times.

now that I'm sans cable, I love watching MeTV.

I catch Columbo every Sunday night at 7. I'm apparently body switching with Jimmy Pasta.

Why wouldn't they be? That's just good stuff.
There is a channel called CoziTv that plays Magnum PI on Thursdays. Tom Selleck had good mustache.

And Doc, from my perspective, being old sure beats the alternative.

I used to watch Magnum with my dad and Dallas and Afternoon soaps with my mom. I was hooked on Days of Our Lives.

I always loved the Rockford Files opening answering machine gag.
Always good.

Oddly, though it pre-dates me, I am now fond of Perry Mason. Never watched it as a kid...even though I loved WGN's lead into dinner lineup of Andy Griffith & Dick Van Dyke circa 1976 or so.

It's a good show, Zippy. I used to watch it with my grandmother. I catch it at 10:30 any night I can. It's cool to see all the well known character actors and future stars in the cast of the show.

I think it's METV that has a all-western show lineup on Saturdays. I enjoy a Rifleman or Big Valley every now and then. Hell, my DVD collection looks like an "oldies" network:

Mannix
Streethawk
Stingray
A-team
Renegade
Hawaii 5-0
Knight Rider (both old & new)
V.I.P.

When Amazon has a deal like a whole season for 14 bucks or so,I will pick up an old show.

Youse twos are speaking my language. I'm feeling very nostalgic tonight. Like I said, good times

Can we all agree that The Courtship of Eddie's Father is the worst show in TV history?

God, that kid was annoying.

Bill Bixby more then made up for it with Hulk & The Magician. Also I think he was on "Farmers Daughter" with Inger Stevens and THAT'S HOW OLD I AM!

Yeah that lineup was probably my favorite. Later they started replacing with Welcome Back Kotter and other 70s shows which didn't fit the same classic vibe IMO (Note: I actually liked WBK but it was such a different era).

Roseanne makes me nostalgic. Saddens me to think that it is so old now.

I thought even the new version of Twilight Zone had some good episodes.

Yeah...the Forrest Whittaker hosted version, right? I liked the one with the chick from Knocked Up being sent back in time to kill baby Hitler.

There's a Twilight Zone thread that w_z started a couple of years ago...it was good reading from what I remember.

Let me see if I can find it...if only there was a search function...

The episode I remember is the professor from the future (who was a distant Kennedy relative) switches places with JFK right before the bullet hits him.
