Forte rushes for over 200 yards and Tillman returns an interception for a touchdown.

Bears win 31-24

It's nice going into a game not rooting for our quarterback to fail so I'll be right.

I predict I get to go to sleep around halftime because the Packers are ahead by about 600 points.

Bears have to play "Lovie Ball" at a very high level tonight. The offense has to keep the Packers off the field. We need Forte to be at his best. The long runs are nice but I would prefer if he did damage on 16+ play drives.

It's been rough to watch this season. I don't really know what they have or what they are doing. I expected a little more but I also thought they'd have lost more games. Strange season.

It also feels like that Redskins game was 5 months ago.

I'm always going to wonder and waffle on what would have happened had they brought Shanny in here.

A lot of bad. I believe the game has passed him by for the most part.

I'm surprised the league allowed this kind of scheduling. Playing on a Thursday night, then 10 days later, and then a bye week, and then Monday night football seems a little bit unfair.

I expect the Bears to come out looking pretty lethargic.

If they win tonight I will remain hopeful of Cutler saving the day but I'm leaning towards rooting for a good draft slot.

They have lost 3 NFC games already. They aren't going to win any tiebreakers so I think they are going to have to win 11 games to make the playoffs. Tonite and Sunday against the Lions are huge. After that they have a bad Ravens team at home, and @Rams followed by @Vikings which are 2 bad teams. If they are 8-4 on the Monday night game against Dallas then they have a shot I think. Anything less probably won't get it done IMO.

I do worry about Dom Capers having 2 weeks to gameplan against Josh McCown, though.

I worry more about Mel Tucker having 2 weeks to gameplan against the Packers.

Packers were not on bye last week, btw.

Chris Conte will be the Packers' most valuable player.

The Washington Reddfoxx are 23-31 under Shanahan.

Quote:
No head coach in NFL history has ever won Super Bowls with two different franchises. Don Shula, Bill Parcells, Mike Holmgren, and Dick Vermeil are the only coaches to at least take different franchises to the Super Bowl.

Let's look at life after for Super Bowl-winning coaches when they take their genius to another franchise:

Mike Shanahan - 23-31 (0-1 playoffs) with Washington

Mike Ditka - 15-33 (0-0 playoffs) with New Orleans

Tom Flores - 14-34 (0-0 playoffs) with Seattle

Joe Gibbs - 30-34 (1-2 playoffs) with Washington

Jimmy Johnson - 36-28 (2-3 playoffs) with Miami

Vince Lombardi - 7-5-2 (0-0 playoffs) with Washington

Don McCafferty - 6-7-1 (0-0 playoffs) with Detroit

George Seifert - 16-32 (0-0 playoffs) with Carolina

Hank Stram - 7-21 (0-0 playoffs) with New Orleans

This will be such a Bears beatdown it'll be like if Keeping Score went and started a new message board somewhere and nobody really posted there.

Has there been any word on Rodgers yet?

Rodgers may be done for the year. I'm guessing broken collarbone. Sucks for all my fantasy teams but it's good for the Bears.

I have the same feeling, still hasn't even come out of the locker room.
