The legend Joe D from Dallas. Not really impressive. Lots of talk about how good of a coach this guy is, but the lack of execution in every game has to have one thinking , is he not good, or was Taub that good? Donte Rosario was a Joe d guy from Dallas and they got him for Joe D, so not impressed. The 2 fake reverse returns sucked and the second almost blocked punt?

I think its a combination of Toub being very very good, this guy maybe not being "bad" so much as he is just far less of a coach than Toub, and lack of player execution across the board sans Hester and Gould.

it's more than that frank, they just seemed unprepared for anything but the basic play

Yes, they are not very good at responding to what other teams throw at them. However, they don't even do their own things very well.

Someone needs to put a stop to Podlesh's reign of terror. If I see another 39 yard punt, I think I may rip the tv from the wall and throw it out the fucking window.

Not just him... the Bears give up an average of 12 return yards per punt... ahead of only NY Giants, Washington, and Houston.

I can't locate it now, but I recall reading an article on DeCamillis that pretty much said he was a mediocre ST coach. I think Hub echoed that sentiment, so I went into the season assuming we'd see a decline in the quality of special teams play. So far I don't think the coach has done anything to shed the mediocre label.

and this is all with AT LEAST six people on the roster specifically devoted to special teams (Podlesh, Gould, Hester, Weems, Mannelly and Costanzo). It's rare that a coach gets more than four.
