I don't think they bring back either one, just not the way they do things.

They'd better do something, cuz Wallace blows.

We can definitely agree on that, I thought he had a better arm than that.

I pretty much agree, but I can see them bringing back Flynn.

I'd love to see Favre back if this is a throwaway season anyway.

It would honestly shock me if they did, I don't know what has happened with him but there is not a team out there that likes him. His arm strength is no better than Wallace's, he is just younger.

They are stubborn as hell. It usually pays off in the end but they will add Tolzien to the roster and sign someone we have never heard of to the PS. No matter how much sense it makes to sign Flynn they will not. TT did get Ryan Grant though that one time all the rb's were hurt so I guess it is possible but unlikely.

McCarthy can turn anyone but Seneca into a star.

Flynn is under contract in Buffalo.

Wallace is not a bad QB. He has mobility, has an acceptable arm, has played in cold weather and has a pretty decent track record in the league. I bet you will see pretty good progression for him in his second week.

I disagree. By NFL standards, he's a pretty shitty QB.

Flynn was released by Buffalo yesterday I believe.

He's already having a hard time remembering that he is Brett Favre. Football isn't in his future.

I agree but lets not act like you wouldn't be scared later this year if #4 came out under center for GB. Pavlov's dogs still drooled when that bell rang even when there was no food.

Only John Madden has more of man crush on the guy than I do. As a fan I would love to see him come back and if the game were on the line he would scare the hell out of me. He tortured me as a kid.

By far my greatest player ever in any sport, but the last few years killed me. He couldn't move anymore and was just a sitting duck getting unloaded on. I have tried my damndest to block those years out of my mind but it is hard to do. Enjoy Mississippi and the practice field at your high school coaching. Leave the rest to the young guys.

His best year was the year before his last. He should have been MVP. I really wanted him to get a shot at another ring but the Saints really wanted to hurt him and AP sucked.

Yeah and he made another bad throw in the playoffs. I was rooting for him, he was crazy good in that regular season. The Jets year and the 2nd year in Minnesota = BAD

I believe the Favre I grew up watching officially died on that tundra against the Giants in January of '07.

Very true.

But, I have to admit I was rooting him on that first year in Minnesota, that was classic Favre.

I wasn't. I hate the Vikings more than any other professional franchise and wish nothing but misery on everyone who plays for them.

Score reported today there was injury concerns regarding Flynn which would keep the Pack from looking to him.

Mark Brunell just started at ESPN, I am sure he is ready to get the fuck out of there.

Lol -- apropos of which I got a kick out of Bernstein reminiscing yesterday about Pat Mannelly's ill-fated fake punt/direct snap to Garrett Wolfe, who was "immediately tackled...and then cut...on the field."
